So Good I Should Have Hid It OK, I got this for my 5-year-old grandson, but when it came, I told myself it was way too advanced for him and I started reading it, myself. It’s beautifully illustrated and I’ve learned a lot in just the first 80 pages…which is as far as I got before my grandson came over and snatched it away from me. He reads on about a third grade level, I guess, and adores this book. He’s gone a lot further in it than I have and is kind enough to share some of the knowledge he’s gleaned from it, but he…

Good, but badly out of date on Pluto As others have said, the visuals are gorgeous and the information on each planet is easy to follow and engaging for young readers. Unfortunately, it was published in 2014, so its information on Pluto is woefully out of date. Can’t recommend at this point. A new edition of the book is desperately needed!

I like the systematic way it depicts our star, the Sun and all the other important members of the Solar System family. It’s a great portrait of the Solar Family. Plus the pictures are stunning.
