The Birthday Gift This book is one of the last few Ursula Curtiss novels that I have read. I think there may be one more. In any case, it is not at the top of the pile as far as clever mysteries go, but it IS as far as well-described people go. What a birthday surprise! As usual Ursula Curtiss does her magic charm. I was immediately enthralled by the events of the story she created. How simple it all seemed. All she had to do was deliver a birthday gift to her partner’s sister. What harm could there be in that!
