Once Upon A Time is a game in which the players create a story together, using cards that show typical elements from fairy tales. One player is the Storyteller, and creates a story using the ingredients on her cards. She tries to guide the plot towards her own ending. The other players try to use cards to interrupt her and become the new Storyteller. The winner is the first player to play out all her cards and end with her Happy Ever After card.

The second edition of Once Upon a Time is available now. It features a full-color format, beautiful new art, an extended card set, high-quality linen-finish cards, and blank cards to script your own endings.

A fun game that can be educational, too I received this game for my birthday and I only wish I had learned about it sooner! The cards are illustrated beautifully which make them a delight to look at, but the game is just as fun to play. Children and adults ages 6+ can play since only an imagination and basic reading skills are needed. The game asks for players to make up stories with the cards they receive. The game ends when someone is able to play an ending card.

This is a great large group or small group game that requires no skill other than the ability to identify cards and tell a story. You can interrupt your friends story without being rude (point of the game) and change the detail they…
