Nothing Like the ‘Real Thing’ but Cute None the Less We are an incredibly ‘crafty’ household, and as an accomplished potter myself, I knew this would be a great starting point for my 6 year old to hopefully learn to love something I’ve loved for decades. I wanted to like this kit. I truly, honestly did… and since I received this from Spin Master at no cost for an honest review, I saw this as a win, win, win!Here’s the 1st loss… the wheel is entirely powered by 4 C Batteries. This in my mind is incredibly wasteful & outdated…

My 9 year old daughter loves it! This is a pretty inexpensive toy, and I had read the reviews, so I wasn’t expecting all that much. BUT my daughter was able to complete one of the projects, from start to finish, 100% on her own – and she had a blast doing it. The instructions for the seashell speaker she made only said to spray 10-12 sprays of water on it one time, which wasn’t anywhere near enough. She had to continually spray the shell with water as she was forming it, using the majority of the water in the included spray…

Smiles all around! I gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she has made the turtle thus far. She really likes to be creative. The turn table for this particular project was useless, so I’m interested to see what the other projects have in store as for the usefulness of the turntable. The turtle turned out cute. It took longer than 24 hours for the turtle to dry enough to paint (more like 48 hrs) but we live in a humid climate, so that may be the issue. She loves it. I love that she loves it. Smiles all…
